This past month I started training four people who are on a vegan diet. Two of them are the ones you would consider strict vegan.
I have trained other vegetarians in the past but not so many at once and honestly not frequently.
With the craze on healthy eating, clean eating, Paleo eating and going all vegan, I'm not actually that surprised to encounter myself with so many people eating this way.
I guess the question is; can someone on a vegan diet get the same benefits as in say a Paleo/Zone type diet? Does it helps them become better athletes or not?
